Week of December 6th

This week

This week we hit a big snowstorm on thursday and we got 6 inches of snow!!!
We also studied rocks and minerals by working in packets and studying rocks.
It sure was a fun week!!!

This week

Wednesday was our first spelling.We got separated into different groups.On friday we had our government party we made gingerbread guys and watched saved by the bell election episode!

This week was a short week because of Thanksgiving recess.On Monday we meet with are 2nd grade buddies.They made trail mix for us and we watched Charlie Browns Thanksgiving.Happy Thanksgiving!

Today we did reading groups,snack,resses,lunch,math and Griffens birthday treat.

2/24/09

The first thing I did was reading. I am reading The Wish Giver. Then the class did their state projects. My state is Ohio. Next is recess. After that we had music(more of a work sheet). Now were talking about lunch. I had a ham sandwich. Math was boring. We are learning about Latin America in social studies. At the end of the day I am room care for the week.

Monday/23/09

This is the first week back to school from vacation and my guess is that everyone is tired. Then we start off with the daily quote then at ten the classy went to P.E. but before that we talked about our vacation. When we came back we went to Mrs. Weller's room then we did  read aloud then we went to recess. Then we went to lunch then math finally we watched a Rosa Parks video then we went home. 

Tuesday 24th

Today we got to school and did are daily quotes. Then Mrs.Falk's reading group went down. After that the black group met with Mr. Denaker. WE talked about the words and phrases we did not understand at first and how we figured them out. After that we had snack. Then we went to art class. In art we worked on  painting our animals in different values, and  colored are back round with a sponge . Then we got back we had some ELA. Then we went  straight to Social Studies! In Social Studies we worked on making notes about the place we got assigned to. The notes were on it's climate, land forms, cities, and the effect we have on its geography. Then we had recess. Next we  had a great lunch. Then we had math I had review for a test. Then we had some Word Study. Then we  read, and next we packed up. I had a great day at school!
